Christopher Sparkes is a London-based photographer known for his street and documentary photography, with a special focus on urban landscapes and the people who inhabit them. He is particularly interested in capturing the quieter, often overlooked moments within bustling city environments. His work frequently explores themes of transience, space, and the interaction between urban architecture and human presence.

One of his key projects is titled ‘Reimagining Non-Places’, which reflects on urban spaces that neglect to evoke a sense of belonging or identity. Christopher draws inspiration from anthropological concepts, examining how individuals experience these spaces in ways that may lead to a temporary and paradoxical escape from the egocentric narratives of their daily lives.
